Each part of this series was created by Sally as a challenge in her 365-Day Project. There she had to make a complete painting every day and had to come up with new subjects. It was quite difficult, so Sally started looking for inspiration wherever she could in her simple routine. Apart from surfing the internet and social media, the artist wanted to show the natural side of women, so she took ordinary moments of her life and used them for illustrations. That is why there are illustrations such as ‘bathing, reading books, getting dressed, walking around the house without clothes, going to dinner with friends.’

She really loved doing these illustrations as she naturally could present ordinary things beautifully. Objects and situations met in her everyday life inspire her to decorate her challenges. Often it can be a TV, a refrigerator, a bed, a table, or a stove. Along with this, Sally does her best to only draw images in a certain context to present her stories.

You may also be curious about the fact that men are not included in all of her creations. Sally had said in an interview she didn’t include men in the illustrations, It did not on purpose. She also said that it is easy for her to draw women. She gave reasons why men did not participate in her illustrations as ‘because she is a woman she has many resources and women are more beautiful than men’. She also hopes to include men in future work, even though the project focuses more on women’s relationships with themselves and with other women.
So we hope you will enjoy these illustrations. It’s not over yet. Scroll down. Invite your friends who want to spend the day with joy to see the post.
