Most of us are familiar with McDonald’s restaurants in every major city and country. McDonald’s has been around for as long as we can all remember and there’s a good reason for that. Because their burgers and fries are simply delicious. With that familiarity, it’s become one of the biggest franchises around the world and has become a point of interest for people who want to see a strange place. Many would argue that while McDonald’s has long been a popular name in the fast-food world, it is popular for its menu but not for its decor. Thanks to Twitter user @katrinkanova, this collection of images comes from a tweet she posted about Freeport McDonald’s. It instantly went viral, and she had said that the building looked like a funeral home on the outside and a retirement home on the inside. At the same time, many people joined in to add retweets to her strange McDonald’s intro, sharing more strange McDonald’s places. Among the pictures they retweeted, you can see a range of places, from buildings like temples and churches to aircraft buildings that you would never imagine.
