Many love the way these adorable little creatures find themselves in so many surprising situations. Squirrels are always looking for food, but they are also curious about everything around them. Their overactive nature is non-rejectable, and it’s so much fun to see how they react when you give them treats or toys.

Ellis’ pictures are great too! He has captured everything from the cute expressions on squirrels’ faces to their reactions when they see something new and exciting. Looking at the photos convinces us that even though they are small creatures, we should never minimize them.

Ellis’ photographs may seem simple, but there is clearly a great lot of job behind them. In this regard, he told Bored Panda that he uses toys that attract squirrels, cookies, and food seeds to inspire them to take perfect photos. And he places that food near the platforms he has created. Ellis thinks they’re really smart because they’re playing on the stage by creating easy ways to get those treats.

The Squirrel Project doesn’t stop at just a few photos, and Ellis keeps it going. He adds a squirrel photo to blipfoto every chance he gets. Also, the photographer continues to photograph in different ways and you can see that work on his 500px page or his website.
